digitizes the offline neighbourhood mom and pop garages by empowering them with
easy access to sourcing, last-mile logistics, business management solutions and
digital credit.
It connects these garages with distributors and manufacturers who sell more than 30
lakh spares ranging across categories in the automotive aftermarket. SpareIt® is
making B2B commerce convenient and efficient for the entire aftermarket
ecosystem.
SpareIt® is scaling rapidly and has onboarded 4000+ garages in less than 8 months
across 4 cities.

1. Position Overview
We are looking for a Product Development Team Leader (4-6y experience) to lead
the development of high performance & user friendly cross platform apps on Web,
iOS & Android.
The position will report to the Engineering Head/ Product Manager.
The candidate is expected to deliver scalable solutions & be able to quickly adapt to
changing business requirements. The promoters vision for the platform is very
expansive – with roadmap to incorporate the latest cutting edge technologies &
business workflows to cater to millions of users across different geographies.

2. Responsibilities
• Liaise with Team Leader to gather requirements, and translate it to software
specifications & developers manual.
• Provide clear implementation timelines & adhere to TATs
• Actively Participate in Daily Scrum & Periodic project/team evaluation
meetings
• Implement industry standard development practices & processes
(Documentation, Source Code Control, Testing, Project Management/
Ticketing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Security & Data
Protection)
• Architect, build, test, deploy & support cross platform apps on iOS, Android &
web browser.
• Work on Product Integration with 3rd party/partner applications.
• Ensure all platforms work with the highest quality, usability, performance and
security, with active participation in the following areas:
o Functional Testing
o Periodic UX Review
o System Performance Review & Performance Tuning
o System Security Testing (OWASP)
o Review Data Privacy & Application Security

3. Technical Skills (Android Native, NodeJS, MySQL)
• Computer Science Education with sound understanding & working
knowledge
Hands-on Development Experience with:
• HTML 5, CSS/Responsive UI Frameworks, JavaScript language
features up-to ECMAScript 2018, NodeJS.
• Android Native Development
• REST API, Web, PWA, Android, iOS Mobile Development &
Deployment
• Charting tools (like D3), Google Maps API
• RDBMS (My-SQL, SQL-Lite) & NoSQL
Good understanding of:
• Functional & object-oriented programming
• Tiered, MVC, Microservices Architecture, SOLID Design Principle
• Agile SCRUM
• JIRA/ Asana/ Others (for Task Management/ Ticketing) & GIT/
BitBucket (for Source Code Management)
• Cloud deployment using AWS/ Digital Ocean/ Linode/ Google/ Azure/
others
Familiarity with:
• No-SQL (like Mongo-DB), Firebase, Kafka
• Cloud-based deployment architectures (Kubernetes & Docker)
